Christmas Day, Part 2

Jenna, Clark, this is all for you guys. I tried to document the whole day for you. Mom and Dad left about 9:00 this morning to head back home. I must admit as soon as I closed the front door, I lay my head on Lanier's shoulder and cried. Three days just wasn't enough.

At least I get to celebrate my anniversary in two days! :) Actually, in three weeks but two days sounds better....

We had Brunch/Lunch with the Halls. The menu consisted of sausage, grits, and breakfast tacos made with chorizo and eggs. Mom and I had chopped up rutabaga, sweet potato, butternut squash and red onion. Should have cooked it at my house before going there b/c it wasn't ready until we were done eating, and by then all we wanted was pie.

Well that's all I got. Didn't take a single picture of Grandmother on Christmas Day. I'm sorry. We ate way too much and watched tons of movies. There was actually frost on the ground this morning--it's finally gotten cold here.

I'll upload these for printing later if you guys want any.
